My WiFi has completely gone and I can't contact anyone about it until tomorrow. I'm literally on a contract, I need the WiFi urgently tonight. I don't understand how the is no one I can contact 24/7, not even through chat

Unfortunately domestic broadband from any ISP simply doesn't have that kind of service level agreement: it would need to cost considerably more each month to do so. 12, 8 and 4 hour response-time contracts on a business leased-line are incredibly expensive, largely due to the staffing requirements to provide such cover both at call centres and in the field.
The Openreach target time to fix an individual domestic broadband fault is within two working days starting the following working day morning after the fault is reported: according to Ofcom this target is achieved for around 85% of logged issues.
