Internet gone down again

We keep having problems with our internet. It's gone off at 12am, and when I check Mysky ap and do a signal check it says everything is ok and the connection is good. The internet is constantly cutting off.

Exactly the same my sky has been on and off all night and it says it's working

Im having the same issue right now, tried rebooting everything but it not changed anything. I had these problems with virgin, thats why i changed. Starting to think i should have stayed with VM.

When it is down after midnight It could be overnight maintenance taking place.

 

If it still down later then the first thing to check is this link to see if there are any outages in your area:
https://www.sky.com/servicechecker


If there isn't try running the line test here:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start


You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.


After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

The issue I have with this is I don't appear to be informed (checked emails and can't see anything) of this update - we have a child under 2 and her baby camera connects to the baby monitor over the WiFi, meaning we had no safe way of keeping an eye on our child other than actually sleeping in the same room as them which we had to do - and I was still awake doing work when it went off, so it also affects my liveleyhood - if they informed us when it was going to take place we could make adjustments, but when it's randomly sprang on us - it's very frustrating.

@ChrisWatson92 It's the nature off the connection, and you will never be informed, domestic service supplied and can happen at anytime and for just about any reason!
