Since yesterday evening my internet has dropped and is now off
the Service Checker says everything is working haha! - it's not!
flashes Amber then goes green then goes off - repeat
got to wait a week for an engineer

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@RKB1977 So you have an engineer visit already in the pipeline? If an external fault has been picked up then there is not much the forum can do for you.

Nothing was picked up they just said they'd send an engineer as the person on the phone could t do anything as it 'all looked good' to them
the checker says no problems in my area and everything is working
