Internet dropping off.

For the past week my internet has been going off and on off and on and its driving me mad, when checking on app it says all is good with WiFi and broadband. Anyone else having issues and what can i do about it. Its getting really annoying now

Yes.  I'm having the exact same issue!  It's just gone off for the second night in a row.  This is the 5th time in the space of just over a week.

 

Engineer has been and said that there was disruption to the line outside the property and another engineer would be around to fix it.  Had a message that it's been fixed on Friday...  Clearly still not fixed!

Yes! exactly the same with me since 10:30ish. i was standing next to hub, 4 green lights but no internet connection. then it kept dropping, connecting. Service checker said all fine while I could see wifi bars on phone dropping then switching to 4G.  Then i'd try a non sky website and it would struggle to load. But as soo  as switch to service checker, all fine again.  I suspect they do not class it as 'no connection' if it's less than 10 mins or something.  It'll be in the small print... or written in latin using invisible ink  within the proton print.

My service checkers also says that everything's fine too.

 

Weirdly, out of the 5 times it's gone off recently, 4 of those times have been late evening, around 11pm/ 12am.  Which is lucky as we both work from home.  No doubt that will be it now until tomorrow.

 

Frustrating to say the least.  I'm going to give them a call in the morning...

@NatalieMcT @Jennisol @Karawen  Sky's lines are opening now and you all need to call in to report your faults if tge online tools are not working for you.

 

It is highly unlikely the issues on your lines are related as with 6 million customers it is inevitable several thousnd will some sort of issue at anyone time.

Hey Chrisee, Thank you for the reply and info 👍 

 

Hope I didn't upset anyone at sky with my banter 😬☺️ Since that message we haven't noticed it happening, however we were away fri-mon.  It has happened alot in last month,  but it's only seconds or minutes then all ok again. 

 

So, I'll record each event over next few weeks, then if we feel it's a problem, I'll place fault report 👍

Exactly the same. I've had two phone messages to say external fault is fixed, but it's worse today. I'm at a loss
