Re: Internet dropping intermittently
West Yorkshire here, hitting us too, has been all afternoon.
Looking at the router logs it appears as if the DHCP lease, the temporary IP address assigned to your connection by Sky, is expiring or being expired.
... syslog: DHCP lease expired from server. Connection DOWN.
This is assigned when a connection is established and normally when provided by your ISP, does not expire for weeks, or even months.
I imagine they are either trying out some new settings which is not playing well, ir the DHCP servers are bouncing and they have not noticed it yet. Definitely an issue on their side.

Re: Internet dropping intermittently
Same have been having intermittent issues all day. Just outside Cambridge. Internet works for about 10 minutes then goes off for 5.... extremely frustrating 😭 have reset router, run all tests - says it is fine - but clearly it is not. Hope it works properly soon for work.

Re: Internet dropping intermittently
I've been on the phone with Sky.
Tried resetting the router by holding WPS for 30 seconds. - Not resolved
Restarted router - not resolved
told to forget network on devices and reconnect - not resolved.
Sky can not see any issue and neither can the SKy app or any other troubleshooting apps/websites out there.
While I was on the phone with Sky, the internet disconnected.
The customer support suggested that the new white routers may have a fault on the 3rd ethernet port. So if you have something connected on the 3rd port, that may be interfering or causing the issue.
I've agreed with Sky customer support agent to call me again in about 30 min to see if the issue continues.
Last resort left is to replace the router. Been with BT for 5 years and never had issues. 2 months with SKY and issues already

Re: Internet dropping intermittently
May I suggest everyone calls sky and report the same issue. The more people report the more information they will get and prioritize it accordingly.

Re: Internet dropping intermittently
Might wasnt to ask them how a port 3 issue has hit a barrage of routers all on the same day. This is a DHCP issue. this is being logged every time the connection does down.
...syslog: DHCP lease expired from server. Connection DOWN.

I've been with sky for a couple of years moving over from BT, up till today I've not had any issues.

Re: Internet dropping intermittently
I'm experiencing the same issue in Lincolnshire. I called Sky about this, and they asked me to press the WPS button for 30 seconds while troubleshooting. Unfortunately, this hasn't improved the Wi-Fi. They offered to send a booster, so I will give that a try.
The Sky app is showing a message that says, “Looks like there is a problem,” but every time I scan, it indicates a good Wi-Fi connection. I believe my subscription guarantees a Wi-Fi speed of 90 Mbps, but it usually drops below 70 Mbps, as shown by the app. I'm not sure if this is accurate. My Team's call quality is poor, and downloading a 4GB ISO file takes at least 30 minutes throughout the day.

Re: Internet dropping intermittently
FYI, this is not going to be fixed by pressing the WPS button and is nothing to do with Wifi, also restarting the router is not a resolution either. I am wired. Only thing between me a the router is a few feet of cat 6.
