Internet dropping in and out constantly

Help, my internet hub is situated so far away in the house, the main port in the house is for some strange reason in the cupboard at the top of the stairs, which means our hub has to be there, but because of that we can't seem to even watch tv streaming on Netflix or Disney without it buffering or going all pixelated? Is there any way someone can come and move our main port to the other side of the house downstairs so that our sky box can be plugged in and not have to rely on WiFi!?

thanks in advance if anyone can actually help

@J-Rey95  Is it in the place that it is because of the length of the cables  to and from the router?

Re: Internet dropping in and out constantly

I don't think so, that is just where the Internet port is and where BT came and initially set up.
my Internet connection is so poor and keeps dropping out. I pay for the booster and max service but still have to use 5G on phones

@J-Rey95  If you pay for the Max broadband and should have a booster then give Sky a call. Might also ask about getting a master socket move in the property. There is a cost to this of £65 to get this done.

Thank you, I am so fed up of calling, getting now where and just paying more for bad Internet. I'll try this though
