Internet dropping constantly
Since I've had sky broadband the internet drops constantly, it is impossible to watch a tv programme and is seriously affecting my ability to work from home even when my laptop is the only device connected/ prioritised. Tried resetting the router and The connection checker always says the broadband and WiFi is fine but it's terrible. Can someone help please.

Re: Internet dropping constantly
@Kelli5 check if the hub is losing connection to the line by looking at its leds when the connection is down (see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start) if it is follow the suggestions on that page.
However if they dont change the issue is almost certainly poor WiFi in your home.Poor WiFi coverage is probably the most common question we get in the forum. In many homes a single Sky hub cannot provide a usable wifi signal in every room due to the layout and type of construction of the property especially in older homes. Assuming the hub is in the best possible position which is out in the open on a surfsce then the only answer is additional wifi sources.
Your choice.is to either buy Sky's add-on WiFi Max bundle which can supply up to 3 extenders see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or buy your own wifi system and use that instead of the Sky hub's WiFi.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode

Just to add Sky broadband being discussed here is a domestic service and whilst it's fine for those customers working from home to use it, they won’t receive additional or quicker support.
