Internet drooped out 40 mins ago

My Internet has dropped out it was working fine until about 40 mins ago Checked all connections nothing is wrong Lights on box from left to right go Green, amber, green, amber

That's not helpful I have checked everything it's all fine so must be something to do with the phone line

Everything was working fine then it dropped i have not made any changes within the house

In case you’re not aware you aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services on here. This is a customer led discussion forum where Sky customers including @JimM1 are here trying to help other customers.


If your broadband isn’t working use this link to check to see if there are any problems or outages nearby.

This should determine if there's an identified fault, perhaps affecting multiple households. (It doesn’t necessarily disclose a problem instantly and it takes a little while to update).

If there aren't any then try running the line test here
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start
You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

Once completed, if it reports back that all is good click on 'broadband' to run an updated test. If you get amber or red you need to follow the on-screen instructions.

If you’re still having problems you may need to contact Sky to report it. The easiest way is to dial 150 free from your Sky Talk landline if it’s still working.

Same here! Internet gone down, checked everything to try and fix it but nothing is working

@Davidgore No problems, the link guides to running diagnostic with the Amber light for Internet failure that can be anywhere from the home all the way to sky server control!
