Internet connection in Worcester

Sky internet dropped at 11:30am. First of all the diagnostic check said their was a known problem in the area, which could take 2/3 days to fix, but could be sooner. Now it says all is fine, no problems in your area. My end, still no internet, have reset, turned the router off and on, left it for 30 seconds. Router has the power light on and the WiFi light on, both green. The internet light is off. When trying to reconnect it says your router is turned off, er no it isn't. Nothing has been moved, knocked or changed in the house, so concerned why I've lost my connection. Has anybody had problems in the Worcester UK area? Thanks

It's important to be aware that the rather poorly worded 'no problems in your area' message absolutely doesn't rule out an individual external circuit issue.
