Have tried all suggested checks and tests and the Windows Network Diagnostics test on PC has returned the message 'Wi-Fi doesn't have a valid IP configuration' (Not Fixed)
The reset of the wireless adapter was completed but the investigation into the router / modem issues failed.
I don't know and I can't see any obvious next steps to take in this to try and get the issue resolved. Can anyone help?

Completely shut down the PC, then unplug the router from its mains connection. Plug the router back in, give it a couple of minutes and then boot up the PC.
