Intermittent WiFi connection

For a week now my WiFi has been dropping in & out, I can't play my Sonos or access the internet, engineer called Thursday, installed a booster & next day same problem! Now another engineer booked for Monday! Fed up of this unstable connectivity, what am I paying for?!
