Intermittent Broadband

I have suddenly started getting intermittent Broadband, and when we do get Broadband it is only in the rooms near the router, not in the rest of the house, even though we have a Sky range extender.

@Hive as a first step reboot the hub by turning the power off and back on which can help optimise the connection.

Assuming that doesnt help check the lights on the hub (see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start) when you lose connectivity to work out whether there maybe an issue with the line or it is just poor wifi coverage in your home.

Wifi range depends on the layout of your home and how it is built. You mention a range extender that needs a good connection back to the hub so place it no more than halway to where you nedd the boost typically placing it in a hall or on a landing is a good position. If the extender came as part of Sky's WiFi Max package then you can call Sjy to get an engineer to come out who can authorise another two extenders

If however you bought the range extender yourself rather thanit being sent from Skycke k t is tge right type for your hub.
