Installation date change

I originally chose a date in January to get my broadband installed as I thought it was going to be possible to change this and there were plenty of earlier dates available in December. 

I have tired to change this to a date in December but I cannot move this to an earlier date as it says there are none available. 

However, if I went through the process again to purchase broadband I can see the are in fact earlier dates available for installation in December

I don't understand why Sky is telling me they cannot come in December when I can clearly see there are dates if I were to set it up again (but I do not want to cancel and restart my request) 

Why is this the case? And why am I not allowed to change? It seems quite ridiculous

Realistically any date in the remaining three weeks of December becomes fairly theoretical given the inevitable short working days, bad weather and staff absence with sickness and holiday leave.
