Hi everyone,
I have used Sky Broadband Shield with success, even the exceptions seem to be working pretty well.
There is only one service that manages to bypass the filter: instagram.
Has anybody been able to block instagram successfully?
When adding to the exceptions I use "instagram.com".
Kind Regards,
Matteo

Unfortunately it isn't easy because an app can (and typically does) use methods other than a domain name lookup to reach its servers.
You could try changing the age setting on Shield, but this will obviously affect all internet access for every user at the address which probably isn't ideal.

Hi there,
You are correct, instagram is blocked when accessed within a Web Browser, but mobile Apps are not blocked; I have just realised that to be true also for other apps.
Is there any way to block access to an App?
Kind Regards,
Matteo

I think I could make it work for the time being, I'll give it a go.
Many Thanks!
