Inconsistent internet

Hello. My internet keeps dropping out several times a day. It works normally and then goes down for a few minutes, then comes back on and then drops out. This has been going on for 2-3 weeks now. Please can you advise. Every time I do the online checks it says everything is ok but currently have no service on tv, Alexa, phone etc so it's not device specific, it's completely down.

I don't know what checks you have done so try running the line test here to see if any faults are found:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start


You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.


After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.


If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.

Do any of the lights on your hub change when the issue occurs?

Yes. The middle one goes off.then comes back amber.

If you havent already, try running the line test in the My Sky app as it should pickup the line drops.
