IP Address Not Updating

I am trying to change my IP Address and after seeing a similar post, unplugged my router for well over an hour.

However, when reconnecting, nothing has changed and I still have the same IP Address as before.

Any thoughts? Thank you.

@TomBz whereas a relatively brief period was required itvdoes seem that Sky have made IP addresses morecsticky especially on fibre services mine has stuck for 6 months.
