I want to relocate my router

My router is presently in an upstairs room close to the incoming GPO socket.  I need to relocate the router to a downstairs room. Can I get this done without involving the GPO people?

You would need to call sky on 150 from your sky landline or mobile to organise a mastersocket relocation via openreach. I believe its £65 for a relocation

Sky Stream , Sky Superfast, SR203 router, Tp link td w9970 + Asus RT AX58U (backup), Xbox Series X, google home mini, LG 43 inch UHD tv, samsung a5 2017 and samsung s21

If I get it right mark as answered
If I get it wrong humour me
If I say something you like give a thumbs up

'Involving the GPO people' might be tricky: that entity was abolished in 1969 ; )

Since then it's been Post Office Telecommunications, then British Telecom, then British Telecom PLC, then BT Group, and now Openreach (a division of BT).
