I'm trying to prevent my children from seeing adult material online.

I have tried to change the parental controls to PG but this did not stop adult sites being seen. I then tried to change it to 'custom' in the hope that this would help, but it didn't.  I'm unsure why I can't get the parental locks on the broadband to work?

I am awaiting an order for faster broadband. Don't know if this makes any difference.

Thanks in advance.

@Ct148 Sky's Broadband Shield is a simple web filter and wont stop a determined child accessing unsuitable sites. The PG setting is the most restrictive and should stop access to known adult sites. Can you give an example of a site you are concerned about?

The site has to be irequested via Sky's DNS system so it wont always block sites if the device is uising a different DNS or accessing via a VPN although the VPN should be detected and blocked on the lower catagories
