Between Sky and OPen Reach neither can tell me when Open Reach will connect my home to allow for an upgrade of Broadband. Open reach have ran the cable to the house - but it's been like that now for 2 weeks with no comms on next steps

@Fish were you not given an activasion date have you checked in my orders on the my sky app if there is any activasion date ?
I know when I updated to FTTP I was given an activasion date which was then changed due to works that openreach needed to do once these works were done another engineer arrived on the activasion date and completed the upgrade

Had nothing, called sky and was told my app would update with dates of connection - nothing on the app and nothing on the sky system apparently OR need to update their end ?? Frustrating that none knows of can help

I had fibre installed yesterday and was told wait half hour and broadband would be live.
10am this morning I rang sky as its still not live to be told they tried to activate it yesterday but a fault was found in the connection box and openreach need to come out again. Can't tell me when so I'm without Internet and phone until god knows when. 2 teen boys who can't play their ps4 or watch Netflix etc means I'm so annoyed . Got told oh don't worry you aren't being billed. Going to have to purchase more data for my boys so they can at least use their phones on the net so will be claiming for that as I shouldn't have to do it.
