I cannot find my ONT but the router box has mailed to me and asked me to connect the ONT. There is no hotline I can call and address my issue

Has your broadband activation date actually been and gone? If not, there's a fair chance the ONT is yet to be installed.
Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate whether this is the case
