House Move
Morning all,
I am due to move house on Friday and when I start the process online I note that I am not offered like for like, the same package I am on.
I have just under a year to go, as I am not going to get the same package does this allow me out of contract without charge?
cheers
paul

Re: House Move
@pauleapo firstly you have left it very late as it usually takes 14 days to set up a home move. Packages can change because your new property has a different connection or these days because Openreach wont accept an order partial fibre service requiring a switch to full fibre.
Sky will probably release you from contract if they cannot provide a usable service at your new address BUT legally they don't have to so while it is worth asking you cannot demand they do. It is worth checking what services you can get at your new address sites such as Uswitch have good checkers which cover most networks.

Re: House Move
Thanks for your answer, but with regards to leaving this late, I can only advise Sky when I have a confirmed date, which is to be confirmed later today for a move next Friday. Would have been a luxury to have had more time, but I am where I am.
Cheers

Re: House Move
Unfortunately Openreach need a minimum of 14 days notice so it looks like you'll be without service for a while. Sky / Openreach can't change that.

It is what it is boss and out of my control, hopefully I will survive and come out of the other side unscathed!
