Hi i have no Internet connection

I have a flashing orange Internet light and no Internet. I have tried changing the cable to the wall. My landline cannot make outward calls. Inward calls are working but with a lot of noise. When testing the phone I tried disconnecting the router and when testing the router I tried disconnecting the phone and neither made any difference, so I am suspecting the issue is not with our equipment.

My download speed was reliably about 52mbps until 1st April when it dropped to sub 10. It has just connected and the download speed is 7.84mbps. So it is unreliable and slow. I am preparing to swap provider if necessary.
