Goelocation wrong country

I'm a recent new Sky Broadband customer through the NBI network. 

Any Google searches or news feeds are uk based not irish like I had with my old ISP.

When I go to my Dad's house

( vodafone customer )  my searches and news are irish based as they should be.

I contacted sky broadband support via phone but they tried to convince me it's a phone setting that's the issue not the router.

Im sure this isn't the case and would like it fixed.

Anyone have similar issues and what was the remedy.

You could try leaving the Hub unpowered (ideally overnight) to get it to pick up a new public IP address.

Hopefully Sky Ireland doesn't pool its addresses with those in the UK.
