Gigafast broadband

Hi, I'm new on the forums. I'm trying to find out where I can find if sky's gigafast broadband is coming to my area?

Do I have to contact sky directly? Or can someone help on here?.

I'm with virgin just now and their prices are through the roof for current customers with no deals.

Thanks.

Sky doesn't lay its own optical infrastructure: it uses the national Openreach network, plus CityFibre cable in the much more limited areas where that's available.

If the Openreach FTTP rollout hasn't reached your area yet and CityFibre isn't there then Sky cannot supply anything above 80Mbs FTTC.

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

@Arcticfox19779 If you happen to know that OR Openreach is your area, then use the checker below, for CF CityFibre then do the sky check!

Fibre Checker
