Getting broadband fitted

Hi there, I’m getting new WiFi installed that I’m supposed to fit myself. It’s a copper wire connection, but I’ve just realized I don’t have any internal wiring in my house to connect to the box. Will I still be able to install it myself, or will I need someone to come out and fit the wiring first?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi @Jodie80

Do you not have a BT/Openreach telephone socket anywhere in the house?

@Jodie80

Is the house a new build or not? Has it ever had broadband before that you are aware of?

@Jodie80

Okay its likely you will need a new socket/line installed. This usually can only happen once the activation date has passed and you report to Sky that you cant connect

Re: Getting broadband fitted

@Jodie80 They do sometimes hide the socket's so be sure to look in cupboards etc.
