Find out more@Rogerthelodger there is an issue where customers have Ultrafast delivered over copper using G.Fast which is Sky will not accept an order to upgrade to a direct fibre connection while the customer is in the fixed 18 month contract period. This is a commercial decision as their pricing recovers the install cost overvtgecwhole contract.

Thank you. I think you've hit the mail on the head. One of the salesperson said we could reduce your broadband speed and then apply for fibre a month later. Bizarrely my contract ends at the end of the year. I'm going to wait until I'm out of contract and see what they offer.
