Installation was to take place yesterday. We have a den in the garden for watching tv/using the internet and I wanted to make sure that we could still do that. The answer was no, we would need to get someone in, at our own cost, to lead a cable etc. I wasn't happy with that, as we have Sky mini box there and Sky were aware of that, although the Sky chap yesterday said this was not the case. I decided not to go ahead with the install. A booster has been mentioned. The new box is at the front of our house, our lounge is at the back, and the new router I understand from yesterday will be in a bedroom at the front of the house, near to where Openreach have put the new box. Will a booster work? Will we need cables from the front of the house all the way to the back if we have a booster? Any suggestions/recommendations would be appreciated but please note I am not very good with technology! Thank you in advance.
