Full Fibre
Hi,
We have been offered full fibre by Sky, which is great.
however our neighbours won't allow the lines over their properties to our house. (The poles are in their gardens).
does anyone have my experience of Openreach putting the cables into the ground to their house?
bizarrely our neighbours will agree to having a trench dug un their garden to allow to cables from the pole in their garden to ours.
did Sky pay?
if anyone has any experience of this and who do I contact?

Re: Full Fibre
@Suzie64 there are cost limits on what Openreach will pay its not down to Sky its the network operator who pays. You can only contact Sky unless Openreach contact you. These issues are complex as a lot depends on what wayleaves are in place for the copper supply which presumably uses the same poles.

Currently £3,400 to provision any individual address, I believe, calculated against their own standard costings for each element of the job. Beyond that amount they reserve the right to quote the householder for Excess Construction Charges.
