Free new router
I have been contacted by a person (in person)from sky today saying we need a free router upgrade, we had to give personal information and I just want to confirm this is really from Sky or a scam?

Hi @Crowperson
If you are new to the forum then welcome to the Community which is predominantly made up of Sky customers helping other Sky customers. You aren’t actually talking to Sky by posting on here.
If it was a visit to your address it's possibly part of this

A router upgrade is only necessary if you still have a Q Hub, because those cannot carry Sky Talk Internet Calls once PSTN is switched off.
I guess it could also be a really inept doorstep sales pitch for FTTP.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
