Forticlient

Forticlient worked perfectly for over four years. Then last Wednesday stopped connecting. 

 

Hours of tests by work IT proven that it's sky blocking this. Loads of calls to sky and having this escalated stating its all on the forum about it led to a "it's fixed" text and guess what....it's not, another call and another 72 hour wait. 

 

Has anyone gotten this fixed??? 

 

Customer service is just shocking.

Top middle, the sky broadband hub

 

They sent me a new one which did not resolve the problem

Nothing at all, worked fine the Tuesday, went to connect the Wednesday and wont have it at all, have connected to other Internet and hotshots it's just at home is the issue

@Netty4 Nothing is jumping out regarding the hub, any changes or what is going on. You could try the old leave it off for a couple off hours and see what happens then.

Seemed to try everything like that to no avail. First issue i have ever had and no one at sky seems to want to help.

@Netty4 That would be correct, they do not block VPN in any way and are/have no clue about why your particular software will not work!

I have been looking and there seem to be alot of posts about this same issue so it came be only me, some suggest changing some settings that only sky can do.

@Netty4 You said you have the Broadband Hub, there is nothing to change, been rock solid since 2019 operating apart from the ocasional oops....

@JimM1 there's a few more posts than the one I saved, I have changed absolutely nothing my end for it to stop working, another person at work is having issues with sky also. I don't understand how it can work for years then just stop, I have changed absolutely nothing, IT haven't changed anything.

@Netty4 Had a look through the post's bit of a mixed bundle going back a few years and not very many so looks like may not be a very wildly used VPN client, so caught in the twilight zone, you believe and sky say nope not us....

Try the power off see how it goes, then if possible Ethernet connected but cannot see that doing anything!
