Fibre upgrade advice

Looking for some ideas as I'm a bit confused. I signed up for full fibre and I have an appointment scheduled for may 4th. I got a text from open reach a week or so back with that date and saying someone must be present on that day. I got home from work on Friday (17th April) and there's a cable running from a pole on the street to my roof in front of an upstairs window and a cable running from that across the front of the house with a grey box attached to it by a downstairs window. They didn't leave a note so I don't know if this was sky or open reach or who it was.i had been told specifically by sky and in that text that someone would have to be home for the work. The box is not at all where it needs to be, looks awful right front and centre and will need way more work inside.how have others got this sorted? I tried ringing openreach and sky on Friday but they're both impossible to find the right people to talk to. I just need it moved or taken off. How can this even happen?
