Fibre to WiFi propagation

Good afternoon, My sky fibre comes into a room that offers extremely poor proportion of the WiFi around my apartment. What can be done to mitigate this? Mainly I'd like to consider extending my fibre router about 8 Feet into the central room in my apartment (which I think a competent fibre engineer would have suggested) I'd prefer this course of action to retain internet speed from fibre. Please get back to me with possibilities of relocating the fibre hub.

@Jamie1476 extending the fibre feed is not straight forward but you can ise a longer Ethernet cable from the ONT to the hub allowing it to be moved. These are cheap to buy and you do not need anything special.

At least one online supplier lists an ONT relocation kit with back-to-back optical couplers and a compatible length of pre-terminated fibre-optic cable: actually using this is potentially problematic because technically the connection belongs to network provider as far as the ONT itself.

As @Chrisee indicates, moving the Hub by using a longer ethernet cable is simpler, and there's no loss of speed over Cat5e (possibly Cat6A if the service is 2.5Gbs or 5Gbs on CityFibre infrastructure)
