@florence+osborne  If the exchange is now a fibre exchange then that is what will be installed.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Copper phone pairs are a 19th century communication technology, and we're now in the second quarter of the 21st.

 

The alternatives to terrestrial broadband are 4G/5G cellular data or Low Earth Orbit satellite data (essentially only Starlink, with an Amazon product supposedly on the way)
