Fibre broadband in Rotherham

Does anyone know when sky are introducing fibre broadband to the s66 area of Rotherham South Yorkshire? The cables under the pavement were installed in 2022 and since then information is mostly unavailable. Our broadband speeds are pathetic as we are using

the old copper phone cables. Some relatives in Rotherham ( not sky customers ) have

very fast speeds.

We are considered valued costumers by sky as we have been with them unbroken for over

twenty years so it's disappointing when they don't seem interested in keeping their customers

informed. I'm tempted to move to a different supplier but like the old saying better the

devil you know.

Thanks for any replies

'Sky' doesn't 'introduce' FTTP anywhere: they resell wholesale capacity on the Openreach network.  The link which @cookiemonsteruk provided should indicate if this infrastructure is available at the address.

Availability of altnet (non-Openreach) FTTP is different: altnets lay fibre where they think there's a market and where they can negotiate access with a local authority.
