Fibre Installation

I have an engineer visit scheduled for the 24th where they will be installing an ONT box and hooking fibre up to my apartment.

My landlord wants to know where any holes will be drilled before he gives permission, but until the day of the visit I have no idea where that will be.

Are there any common /standard areas that holes will be drilled to feed the fibre cable through?

If - on the day of the installation - I call the landlord and let him know exactly where the engineer wants to drill but then he doesn't provide permission, I'll just have to turn the engineer away. Would I be charged the £25 for that?

No, that shouldn't be the case.

If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband provisioning type is applicable.

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.

Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.
