Can anyone help? My SKY fibre broadband regularly drops off and the router box shows an ORANGE light in the Voice setting. Why is this? I cannot trust this service to stay on whilst I am out of the house! Ever since fibre broadband arrived last year, it has been an inferior service.

@GarethW1 the loss of tge voice service is often due to a fault in the kit Sky uses to manage your connection. There is not much you can do until they fix it assuming you have reported the fault. Seems to be a rash of similsr reports recently so somewhere there is dodgy server.

Re: Fibre Broadband Drop Out
I'm having the same issue but it only started after a company called STL came to the area I live and seemed to be lifting and examining the street infrastructure. Anyone else notice this?

Re: Fibre Broadband Drop Out
I'm still having this problem. Is anyone else? Ooenrrach engineer came out and told me it was an issue that Sky are aware of. Since then they are being totally unhelpful and I don't see why I am paying for a service I'm not getting delivered. Today at work I checked my doorbell camera and heating at home on Nest. Neither of which were accessible because the WiFi was down... it's really inconvenient. Any suggestions?

Re: Fibre Broadband Drop Out
Hi, sadly I don't have any suggestions. The sky app obviously doesn't connect when I have no internet and of course when it does connect I have internet but try explaining this to Sky support! They just say 'but sir, you have internet connection' Very poor customer service but sadly, good customer service is rare. I guess all I/we can do is vote with our feet and change provider when our contracts are up

Re: Fibre Broadband Drop Out
Yep same - I might consider getting trading standards involved. Paying for a service that isn't deliverable... just a shame they won't listen and loyal customers have to make all the effort to sort it out
