Fast fibre 500

We signed up to fast fibre 500 last year and it's stated that if it drops below 500 we will get it sorted and money back or free what ever the time frame of the low service that was garanteed I have spoke to a agent few months back mabey more about this since we have had it it's not been 500mps it's always been 70-80 mbs I've screen shoted every month showing and saying not problem our end , when I spoke to ur colleague he was ment to ring me back and said he would sort this since doing so we have been paying 50 plus every month for this fast 500 and not getting it and it states if it doesn't match the 500 mbs you will refund or exchange please get back to us as it's become a real problem and tbh a very bad let down on your behalf!!!

@Chantelle7 you are not talking to Sky by posting in this forum.

Sky tests the speed to your Sky hub daily the results for the last three weeks ccan be accessed by using the Service Checker in the My Sky app. The guaranteed minimum speed for the 500Mb/s is 400Mb/s if the tested speed drops below that for 3 days in a row you can change your package or leave without penalty. See https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-broadband-speed-guarantee

However this guarantee does not cover speeds at your device as often the WiFi link between the hub and the device is the bottleneck. Sky cannot control WiFi spedds in your home which are determined by the layout and type of construction. If you feel you need higher speeds (80Mb/s is actually ample for most apps) you need to improve your home's WiFi or use Ethernet cables. Sky's WiFi Max add-on offers 25Mb/s guarantee in every room in your property.
