Failed activation date

Hi

we have been waiting ages for broadband now - moved into our property over 3 weeks ago and still no WiFi.

our sky box has been delivered, and we got a date confirming the engineer from openreach would come and install. We waited in all day for the engineer and he never showed up.

I contacted sky the next day asking why, to which they said the engineer spotted a fault with the main green box so activation couldn't go ahead. Open reach never informed us of this, we've had no communication from them nearly a week later. We only know what we know because we had to ask sky customer services on live chat ourselves to ask.

We still haven't been offered a new activation date or received any information from openreach, yet we are still paying for sports and streaming which we can't actually access without WiFi box?

where do I go from here? I have tried contacting sky again, but there awful to try and get hold of / live chat won't connect?

I have escalated your post to the Sky Community Messaging Team.

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.

This link explains what happens.
