@DJMcKenzie87

As explained to you in previous posts the Community is predominantly made up of Sky customers helping other Sky customers. You aren’t talking to Sky by posting on here.

If you need to report anything to Sky you need to contact them; the quickest method being dialling 150 free from your Sky Talk landline.

@DJMcKenzie87 the noise margin in your connection has increased from 5.6dB to 6.5dB which indicates action by the DLM system in the cabinet on what is a long copper line between the cabinet and your home. This is an automatic system programmed to intervene where line errors and drops exceed the limits for the line profile. You do not look to be "banded" where a speed has been set manually as that would give you a speed showing as near a round number say within a few kb/s of 30Mb/s

One of the issues with VDSL is that the speed a line will carry is affected by both the length of the line and the level of electrical noise. Noise levels can and do change and these days Openreach do not intervene unless the speed drops below the guaranteed minimum speed even then often the only thing they do is offer a cancellation of the contract.
