I've had my garage, which is a separate building from my house, converted to an office. The builder has wired a cable through which goes into the back of my Sky router. The other end comes out through the wall in the office/garage and has said I can connect a device to it, but I want to connect multiple devices wirelessly to the network.
Do I need a second router or a booster or something? I don't want to have to log into a different network or anything in the office.
I am pretty clueless about this so a simple step by step explanation would be most helpful if anyone can help!

Assuming that's an ethernet cable, the most appropriate hardware with the least technical invovement would be a Sky wireless booster (white plastic) which matches your current Sky Hub. Sky won't provide this though (and their current stock model doesn't have an ethernet port) so you'd need to source one on the slightly dubious second user market.

Thank you. And will that just work without having to do any set up, changing of passwords etc?

@TimmyBGood Thank you so much for your help.
Hopefully last question from me on this! I'm looking at a couple of Sky Q boosters on eBay but have been told by the sellers that the Ethernet port is for Ethernet Out. Does this mean it won't work? I'm not sure if Ethernet only works in one direction!

TCP/IP over ethernet is always bi-directional: it wouldn't do much otherwise. Maybe you can get a discount; )

@TimmyBGood Of course! Just realised that was a really stupid question. Thank you so much for your help!
