Ext cable

Need to move my router will require an extension to fit to original cable, is it a rj11 connection to router and a cat 6 ?@

That depends on the broadband technology in use.

 

ADSL, FTTC and G.fast would use an RJ11 to RJ11 cable between master socket data port (or microfilter) and Hub modem socket.

 

FTTP would use a Cat5e ethernet cable between ONT and Hub WAN ethernet port

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
