Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Smiffy2 how far is the device from the hub? WiFi range depends on the layout of your home and the type of construction. In an older home with solid walls being 2 rooms away from the hub can mean no usable wifi. In modern homes with three floors you can often have a similar issue on the top floor when the hub is on the ground floor. Sky sell an add-on package that can supply up to 3 wifi extenders see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or you can buy and use your own equipment.
Sky have numerous numbers to call but they want customers to use the online information before calling if you use the help, psges at the end there is an option to call them which generates a number so the agent knows what you have tried.

It's hard wired by Ethernet cable as mentioned in my description- why would I need WiFi extenders???
I also need the phone number to discuss with Sky and there isn't one?

The forum software does not allow phone numbers to be posted so you will have to either follow the contsct us links at the base of each web page or do a simple search for Sky Customer Services but only use numbers starting 03 to avoid call forwarding services.
