Ethernet Booster connection

Sorry, I am a tech novice! I have a number of Wi-Fi black spots. Sky engineer has suggested using a sky booster 4 via an Ethernet between the hub and the booster.

The booster has previously been used via Wi-Fi for booster purposes.  How to I get it to use the Ethernet connection rather than Wi-Fi? And how do I know it's connected in this way?

I am told it should produce 500mps in the same way the router does.

thanks all!

@RupertCB

Power it on, hold the reset button for 30 seconds then connect the ethernet cable to it.

Whoever told you it should produce 500mbps needs to get their marketing talk sorted out. Theres no guarantee it will produce any sort of speed, what you get depends on so many factors.

In a world of wireless, cables can still make for a happier world 😆
