Dropping internet

We have experienced a massive drop out in our broadband the last few weeks. It was fine but now everything takes a while to connect, we keep getting buffering, pages are not loading and the sky Q box keeps saying not connected to Internet and not showing TV guide or apps. The apps that are used are slow, blurry pictures and buffer. So frustrating, especially as I am now trying to work from home and everything drops on me every 5 minutes or so. It's like we are back to dial up. The weather has been stable also so it isn't even that.
