Downloading on Sky Q box causing Wi-Fi issues

When we try to download films is series episodes on our sky Q box, nothing else can use the Wi-Fi as becomes too slow. It has been like this since installed. All health checks come back with no issues.

Our broadband package is Sky Broadband Unlimited. Not sure what we should have but we are getting 19.16 Mbps download and 0.81 Mbps upload, according to my Orbi router speed test.

If you do the line check in the My Sky app it will tell you. Sky Broadband unlimited though suggests your on ADSL which is becoming an old technology. If your downloading something on your Sky Q box its very likely that it will take up all available bandwidth which will make other devices struggle to load anything. Is fibre not available to you?

As @jamesn123 indicates, 'Broadband Unlimited' (ADSL) is in fact very limited: it's now the oldest form of broadband still in use, and around 98% of UK properties can get something much better.

If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband type are available.

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.

Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.
