Do I need to continue my BT phone line?

Hi, Moving to sky broadband and BT have informed me that my broadband services will be stopping but they carry on with my landline - do I actually need this for my sky fibre broadband to work. We never use the landline - mobiles only. So ideally I#d like to end the service and save a few pounds ?

The same copper or fibre line that carries the phone carries the broadband . However if you choose skys pay as you talk package then its free if you don't intend on using a landline

Sky Stream , Sky Superfast, SR203 router, Tp link td w9970 + Asus RT AX58U (backup), Xbox Series X, google home mini, LG 43 inch UHD tv, samsung a5 2017 and samsung s21

If I get it right mark as answered
If I get it wrong humour me
If I say something you like give a thumbs up
