Ordered full fibre broadband for installation 26 Feb 25, finally installed 14 July 25. Delays were down to Open reach having not properly connected the property. During one of the many updates an advisor mentioned we would be elligible for the £6.24 a day compensation because we were unable to get any sort of broadband to the property whilst waiting. Not sure on the detail and if we are actually are eligible , I understand it is automatic but wonder if there is anything we need to do.

You will get a letter/text or email from sky once the auto comp has been calculated no one at sky can speed up the automation
once you receive the notification you can then decide if you want to keep it as a credit on your account or, depending on the amount, have it transferred to your bank account by calling sky

@TonyWheat thecdetails of how the autocompensation works are here Customer Auto-Compensation | Sky Help | Sky.com
It takes roughly 4 weeks to come through and is used as a credit on the account so you should get quiteca long time of free broadband. 😀
