One solution is to get a modem/router that's compatible with Sky and you can change the DNS no problem. You'd also be able to hve WIFi 6 and a better WiFi signal.

I've got the same issue, annoyingly a couple of the kids will be playing online and not notice the issue, but we have to reboot the router to so everyone else can continue browsing and doing other Internet work.
I was going to upgrade to Full Fibre but this is going to stop me going with sky.

This morning was on a web site which I am an administrator two hours later tried to log on and got a message there was a problem with the DNS?? Been onto Sky and they told me to de activate the BROADBAND SHIELD which I have done but the problem is still there?

Can you set the device up on google dns or cloudflare to rule out/in sky dns issues

There's something wrong with the nameserver configuration for that domain: multiple DNS providers can't resolve it. If you don't administer the hosting yourself then you should contact whoever does.

It's a nameserver issue, nothing to do with the device that the web browser is running on.

Thanks I only administer the postings. I dont know anything about the intricacies of how the web site operateds. My friend who started the web site. does all that Are you saying the problem isnt with SKY it is with the wiganwworld server?

I get the same issue even if i try to open up Youtube or something. Seems to happen every night around midnight and 1am

Yes, it's a server-side issue: specifically the nameservers for the hosting provision (ns1, ns2 and ns3 at meganameservers.eu) don't seem to be responding
