Cutting off

My sky keeps cutting off every 5 minutes and coming back on. Can you please look into this immediately as I'm trying to do my uni work. This is not acceptable for the amount I pay a month.

@Afrocute It would be impossible for anyone including the Sky staff here to look in to it for you, no-one here has any idea who you are as your Sky account is not l;inked to your forum username.

 

You need to run the connecction test via the Sky app and if it finds an issue it should offer you the option of booking an engineer, if its doesn't offer you that option you will have to call Sky to report the issue, be aware Openreach who own the network and infastructure have a target time of 2 working days after a fault is reported to fix it, that would mean Tuesday at the earliest.

There appears to be a BT issue as lots of people in my local area (Chesterfield) are suffering.  DSL connection (sometimes) but no IP address issued and DNS not working.   When the Sky service checker is used it doen't need to know about your connection out only that they can see a DSL connection. and so they belive the issue is at out end.
