Cordless phone that is compatible with sky broadband router

We have just changed over from by broadband to sky broadband, our BT wireless phone will not connect. I'm looking for a phone that has an answer phone and call blocker that would be compatible with being plugged into the router. I've spoken with Panasonic and they don't do any. Looking for recommendations of what make and model numbers of phones people are using that are compatible before I spend loads of money on the wrong thing. Thanks everyone

That's probably because they thought you meant a phone to plug into an ethernet port.

Any current DECT platform should be fine with Sky Talk Internet Calls because it's the Hub that does the tricky bit.

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

Thank, you for your super quick reply. I'm not very clued up on phones. So if a cordless phone had DECT in the description I should be ok.  Would you have recommendations.

thanks

Panasonic dect phones base station if in smallish house or if you need more you can add smaller stations which communicate via radio freq to the base station.  Check out currys or dixons in store or online

Any dect phone with a rj11 to standard bt phone socket will work. Gigaset seem to be primarily true voip phones so i would stick to the tried and trusted

Hi Everyone, just to bring you up to date. I ordered a gigaset dect phone and it arrived today and it plugs into the router on my sky hub. Thank you everyone who answered my post.
